Hello,
As some of you have noticed, I make my own tests. I feel it’s only fair to assess my students by the way I teach. Sometimes I do not proofread enough, so an occassional error may pop up. The students do a good job of finding them!
I never let the error hurt your child’s grade.
I’ll try to catch typos a little better since I need to set the best example to my students!

EDIT – 9:52 p.m. I just found out that the quiz was not available. It is now. Sorry!
I think I’m going to try another service that is easier to navigate.
A quiz is available for Sarah, Plain and Tall. Please follow the procedures that I listed in a previous post. quizstar.4teachers.org

I’ve lost count on which week this is. Time has been flying!
There are few tests this week. I guess this is “round two” of testing. If your child does well, grades could up! Check the newsletter for the schedule.
One thing I preach to my students is that our class is a type of family. One of our students has experienced a loss recently. While I don’t want to share that personal information on my blog, I’ll discuss it tomorrow morning with the students. We’ll need to keep this family in our thoughts and prayers.
Tomorrow the students will take a Think-Link test. The test gives me data on what my students struggle on. It’s sort of a “pre-ARMT” test.
That’s all the news I can think of for now. Let’s have a great week!
There were many test papers that came home today. Be sure to review them, sign the form, and have it all returned tomorrow! Thanks.
Thank you for your support and kind remarks. This has been a terrific year so far. I love my class and appreciate their hard work!

Please follow the directions in a previous post to take the math quiz. You can begin at

I hope it helps!
