I’m slowly but surely getting back on track. I’m way behind in grading papers, so folders will not be ready tomorrow. Thanks for understanding!
I want to encourage my students to review the five classroom responsibilities! I’ve noticed that behavior has slipped some since my absence. Several students did have good reports though!
A math test (subtraction) is planned for Wednesday. Each student should be familiar with borrowing.

We are all doing fine. Baby Lila is doing well and is very content . Her big brother and sister adore her!

Hello everyone,
Lila Victoria Kelsey is here! She arrived at 7:24 a.m. this morning. She weighs 7 pounds and 5 ounces and is 19 3/4 inches long. She has red hair just like her sister! Her siblings were bald when they were born, so we were surprised!
Mom is doing well and we are a happy family of 5!
Thanks for all your kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Tell your children I miss them!

Friday of this week, Lila Victoria will make her entrance into the world! Our C-section is 7 a.m. Please continue to keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.
I stayed late Friday getting things together for my absence. I know that things will go well because this is a great class. I’m going to miss each of them!
This week: there is a Science quiz on Tuesday. This will consist of 10 questions. I want to encourage the students to study the vocabulary list from lessons 1 and 2 of the chapter. A
Homework will be issued on Monday and due on Friday as usual.
Picture money is due on October 11th.
Class shirts will be sent home this week.

There is a nouns quiz tomorrow. I will not be able to write a quiz before 7 p.m. tonight. I will be attending a workshop from 3:30 - 6:00 and then will head to church.
Study material will be sent home. The quiz will not be difficult. The students should be able to recognize nouns in a paragraph and spell plural nouns correctly. (s, es, ies).
